At Sandvine since 2018, I am leading a team responsible for developing Automation use-cases with provable business value to telecom operators world-wide.  I manage the POC, engineering, software and testing efforts.  Reporting to the chief technical officer (CTO), I interface  and collaborate with top executives within the company, including sales, product management, human resources, and legal.

My responsibilities include defining innovations and bring them to product roadmaps through POC evaluation, customer validation and proving the business case value.  Prior to Sandvine, in my various roles at Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs and Nokia, I successfully  directed the internal development of new product designs and concepts to bring operator value.  I drove internal roadmaps and position technical solutions and strategies to executives (CTO/VP/R&D) at all key US and Canadian operators.  I have experience in driving differentiators in large and small organizations requiring technical and business expertise and strong leadership. I have successfully managed multi-national, multi-location teams, fostered innovation, have coordinated third parties and enabled many partnerships.

I have conducted and led research and strategy work in Mobile 4G and 5G HetNets  (architectures, scheduler algorithms, multiconnectivity, mobile backhaul, network slicing), Fixed Access Networks (GPON, Cable, Fixed Wireless Access), WiFi, Self Optimizing Networks, Network Automation, Mobile Video and VoLTE. In recent years, my work has been focused on applying various Machine Learning techniques to develop Automation and end-end optimization solutions for Telecom Networks to help operators lower OPEX, CAPEX and improve user QoE.
