Education

As the Vice President of Automation Innovation at Sandvine, I lead the team that provides strategic engineering leadership and technology vision for Sandvine's network automation and artificial intelligence (AI) endeavors.  Under my leadership, my team builds leading edge data analytics and optimization solutions that are deployed in customer networks with provable ROI. 

Prior to joining Sandvine, I conducted research and defined strategy in the Wireless Chief Technology Office at Nokia as a Director and Distinguished Member of Technical Staff for over 10 years. As a Manager at Bell Labs, I led a team conducting research in Fixed Access and IPTV networks.

Serving in various technical and management positions, I have been granted over 50 US patents and have written several several industry white papers and journal publications. 

I am an Adjunct Professor at Southern Methodist University, Dallas since 2012 where I teach graduate courses on Wireless Networks and Switching and IP QoS in Fall and Spring. 

As a key-note speaker at several university and local events,  I share my perspectives on automation and machine learning in telecom industry and career development for engineers.  

I am a regular guest speaker in the Introduction to Engineering classes in Dept of Electrical Engineering at SMU.

I am the President of Industrial Advisory Board at University of Texas at Dallas, TX.

I am an Advisory Board Member at  Southern Methodist University.
